Enrollment can be done in two ways and is decided by your company.
When a person is enrolled, they are referred to as an "enrolled user" and the Rock will authenticate this user when they approach the door. It is important to note that the Rock will authenticate only. On a successful authentication it will send the badge number of the enrolled user to the ACS Panel for authorization. If the door does not open, check that the user has been configured in the ACS Panel with permissions to access the door.
1. Auto-enrollment - Enrollment is done by badging in over the course of a few days. After that, you will not require your badge. As you approach the Rock, it will authenticate you and the door will open.
2. Manual enrollment - Enrollment is done at a designated enrollment station, usually monitored by a security guard. It requires your badge and following the guided steps on the Rock's display.
